Brother PJ-523 Driver

The Brother printer models PJ-522, PJ-562, and PJ-563, along with this product, collectively form the esteemed mobile printer series, also referred to as the pocket jet printers.

To power this printer, an AC power cord is connected to the receptacle, which in turn connects to the AC adapter and then to the printer. The ideal power input voltage range for safe operation is between 100 to 240 Volts at a frequency of 50/60 Hz.

In addition to the AC power source, this printer can also be powered using a vehicle DC supply. This can be achieved through the cigarette plug or direct wiring, with the vehicle supplying up to 12 volts DC to the PocketJet printer.

Specifications

The Brother PJ-523 printer boasts an operation panel housing the main switch and three crucial indicator lights. One light denotes power, while the other two indicate data and error. The main switch serves a dual purpose: it can turn the printer off manually or electrically. To perform the latter, simply push the switch once. If you want to power off the printer completely, press the switch twice in quick succession.
To charge the printer battery while it’s off, press and hold the main switch for at least two seconds. Once the power indicator light starts blinking, the charging process has begun. The indicator light will stop flashing when charging is complete.

The printer features three indicator lights that provide visual cues for normal operation and error conditions. These lights come in green, red, and orange, and may blink or remain lit to indicate various device conditions.

This printer is fully compatible with PCs running Windows operating systems, including Windows 2000 Professional, Vista, and XP. Additionally, it boasts advanced features like the PocketJet 3 utility, which enables automatic on/off functionality and pre-feed capabilities.
