For all versions of Mac, the bare minimum processor required is a G3 or higher, along with a minimum of 128 MB of RAM. However, HP highly recommends a G4 processor or higher for optimal performance.
When it comes to hard disk space, OS 9 requires a minimum of 50 MB of free space for full-color scanning, in addition to the space needed for the operating system itself. For OS X, the required free space increases to 100 MB, plus an additional 50 MB for full-color scanning.
If you’re running OS 9.1, 10.1, or higher versions, you’ll need even more hard disk space – 400 MB for most regions, and 600 MB for Japan only.
It’s important to note that these are the bare minimum requirements, and if you plan on using your Mac for more intensive tasks, you’ll want to aim for higher specs to ensure smooth performance.

This ensures that you are able to view and access all the features and functionalities of your device without any hindrances. A higher resolution allows for sharper and clearer display, thereby enhancing your overall user experience.
Therefore, it is highly recommended that you invest in a monitor that meets or exceeds the recommended resolution for your HP device. Doing so will not only improve your productivity but also ensure that you get the most out of your device.
To meet the necessary prerequisites, you must possess internet connectivity, a functional sound card, and have Adobe Acrobat Reader 4.0 or more recent editions installed on your system.
